Women’s Prize

Suzy and Rachel have been tackling both the Ockham and Booker Prize shortlists for a number of years now. In 2023 we decided to turn up the heat a notch by including the Women’s Prize shortlist into our reading calendar.

We were encouraged by the finalists of years past, books we were drawn to and often ended up reading anyway. So we thought why not formalise it and make it an offical part of our reading priorities every year.

So, as with our other book award events, we will read the shortlist once announced, host a judging evening for two, and announce our thoughts prior to the official awards evening and see if we can’t channel the judges thoughts.
